CARDBOARD BOXES

A stock box comes in a fixed, pre-set size with no branding. A custom cardboard box is built to your product's exact dimensions, in your chosen board grade, with your logo and print finish applied, typically available from an MOQ of 100 units rather than a warehouse pallet minimum.

Flute is the wavy inner layer sandwiched between the box's flat liners. Its size and thickness change how much crush resistance and softening the board delivers, which is why two boxes of the same external thickness act very differently under the same load.

Single wall suits most items under 15-20kg with normal handling. Double wall is worth specifying once weight climbs past that, contents are fragile, or boxes get stacked several-high on a pallet during transit or storage.

For runs over a few hundred units, direct print works out cheaper per box than sticker application labour, and it survives handling nicely since the graphic is part of the board instead of sitting on top of it. Stickers always make sense for very small or one-off runs.

Die-line tooling is typically a one-off cost that's reusable on every reorder once paid, so the charge only bites on the very first run of a given size. Reordering the same custom size later carries no repeat tooling fee.

Our core focus is UK-wide delivery, but export and wholesale shipping, including to Canada and other overseas markets, can be arranged case by case. It's worth flagging the destination country at the quote stage so freight and duty are costed in accurately.

Yes. Standard corrugated and folding carton stock is Chain of Custody certified and accepted through most UK kerbside recycling collections. Right-sizing the box to the product, rather than over-boxing, is usually the biggest single reduction in material use per shipment.
