Die-cutting is how board is cut and creased into a shape made for one product. With custom die-cut packaging, your product has its own fitted space and stays put all the way to the customer. Most transit damage begins with a product that has room to move. Corners get hit, products slide, and loose void fill settles.
No pack can promise zero damage, as weight, board and the journey all matter. We measure every product fully packed, which counts most for protective packaging for fragile products. Each design starts with a dieline drawn from your measurements.

We choose the board grade by product weight. Multipack packaging keeps cans together for sale, while layer sheets separate the tiers.
If your product moves around in the box, an insert will fix that. If items knock against each other, you need dividers between them. Stacked layers need pads, and ends or corners that stick out need end caps or edge protectors. Those few checks usually point you to the right choice.

How strong a custom corrugated insert design needs to be depends on your product’s size, weight and weak spots, and on the journey it has to make. Corrugated board works for many products. But if yours is too heavy or too delicate for board alone, we’ll tell you straight and suggest specialist cushioning for your bespoke packaging inserts instead.
