Return and Refund Policy

Ever wondered why returns feel complicated, even when all you want is a simple swap or refund? Let’s untangle it. At Hale Path Packaging, we make returns straightforward — because shopping should feel easy, not stressful.

1. Return Window

We want you to love your order. If something isn’t right, you have 14 days from the day it lands at your door to send it back, following UK Consumer Rights rules.

To make a return, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a state that could be resold.

Important note: Custom-printed or personalised items can only come back if they’re faulty or don’t match the approved design you signed off.

2. Returns for Faulty or Wrong Items

What if your order arrives damaged or doesn’t match the proof you approved? Don’t panic — here’s how we fix it:

  • Tell us within 3 working days via email at sales@halepathpackaging.co.uk.
  • Include photos or evidence so we can see exactly what went wrong.
  • Once verified, we’ll reprint your order free of charge.
  • You may need to return the defective items within 10 working days.
  • Unless UK law says otherwise, return shipping for faulty items is covered by the customer.

Think of it as a safety net: we make sure what you ordered is exactly what you get.

3. Returns for Non-Faulty Items

Changed your mind? It happens to everyone. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Return shipping is on you.
  • Depending on how far along your order was in production, we may deduct a small amount for printing, setup, or processing.

We keep it fair, balancing your needs with the effort that goes into making your order.

4. Order Cancellation

Sometimes plans change, and that’s okay. Here’s our timeline for cancelling orders:

  • Within 4 hours of proof approval → full refund.
  • After 4 hours, but before production begins → 5% cancellation fee.
  • Once production starts → we can’t cancel your order, because each item is custom-made just for you.

It’s simple: the earlier you tell us, the easier it is to change things.

5. Refund Method

When your refund is approved, it goes straight back to your original payment method in 5–10 working days.
